UATranslit: Estensione per Chrome per la traslitterazione dall'inglese all'ucraino

UATranslit is a free Chrome add-on developed by Andrew Soltis that allows users to transliterate from the Latin (English) alphabet to Ukrainian as they type. With just a simple press of the F4 key, users can switch to Ukrainian while in a text field, making it convenient for those who frequently need to type in Ukrainian.

The add-on provides an easy solution for transliterating English words into their Ukrainian equivalents. It includes special characters and letter combinations that are unique to the Ukrainian language, such as "ji" to "ї", "je" to "є", and "ju" to "ю". Additionally, it offers transliteration for common letter combinations like "ch" to "ч", "zh" to "ж", and "sh" to "ш". Users can also type "w" to get "щ" and use the apostrophe symbol to get "ь". For the letter "q", users can simply type an apostrophe.

UATranslit is a useful tool for anyone who needs to type in Ukrainian but is more comfortable with the English alphabet. It eliminates the need to switch keyboard layouts or learn a new set of characters, making it a convenient option for those who frequently work with both languages.
